OUR STORY
C.M. EICHENLAUB CO. was founded in 1899 by Charles M. Eichenlaub. Charles was born on a farm in Butler county PA and came to Pittsburgh in the 1880s to learn cabinet making. Charles later worked as an installation superintendent for church furniture, and with an entrepreneurial spirit, stablished C.M. EICHENLAUB CO. to produce “kneeler cushions” made in his garage. Eventually the company transitioned from manufacturing to representing one of the leading manufacturers of church furniture. In time the company expanded its lines to include school furniture and equipment. Eventually, the focus became solely dedicated to school furniture.
Today the company continues to represent reputable furniture and equipment manufacturers of the highest quality.
